These instructors bring advanced knowledge in tracking, counter-surveillance, and unconventional training. With over 25 years in defense, security, and special operations, SLO brings unmatched experience and intensity to every program he leads. From high-stakes missions to training soldiers and diplomats, he has dedicated his career to preparing others to perform when the pressure is highest.

Chris “Red” brings 21 years of military service to The Survival University, now leading the Urban Survival Course with a focus on practical preparedness. He teaches no-nonsense strategies that help everyday citizens stay safe, self-reliant, and resilient in times of crisis.

Kenny “KG” is a 21-year military veteran and former Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician who supported both Conventional and Special Operations units around the world. With experience ranging from arctic survival to advanced demolitions, he brings a calm, focused approach to high-pressure environments.

JIMMY DUNN

PARK RANGER RETIRED - TACTICAL TRACKING INSTRUCTOR

Jimmy Dunn has been in LEO with the National Parks Service since 1996 until her retired in 2021. He worked tracking operations along the Mexican border and as a former Team Leader for multi-agency tactical tracking units. As a field training officer, he has trained groups of law enforcement officers in tactical tracking in a wilderness environment.

ARMY SPECIAL FORCES - TACTICAL INSTRUCTOR

Pete is a highly skilled professional with a distinguished background in the US Army Special Forces, serving as both a Medic and Sniper. He’s also a Mountaineering Instructor and Crisis Response Specialist, capable of leading in the most challenging environments. A Nationally Registered Paramedic, Pete is dedicated to training and resilience, with expertise in areas like combat driving and gunsmithing. Beyond his impressive career, he’s a devoted husband and father of four, balancing his professional and personal life with integrity.
