Along with classroom instruction, the course includes hands-on practice in handling and using firearms on a range, ensuring that participants gain confidence and competence with their firearm. Whether you’re a new gun owner or seeking to refresh your skills, this course will empower you with the knowledge to use your firearm safely and responsibly.

- Firearm: A rifle or handgun (depending on course focus) in good working condition
- Ammunition: At least 200-300 rounds of ammunition for your firearm
- Eye Protection: ANSI-rated safety glasses
- Ear Protection: Earplugs or electronic earmuffs
- Shooting Mat (optional): For prone shooting positions
- Hat: To protect from sun and reduce glare
- Sunscreen and Lip Balm: For protection against the elements
- Water Bottle: Stay hydrated throughout the day
