Introduction to Youth Archery – 2-Day Beginner Class
Ready to get your child started in archery? This two-day beginner course is a fun, hands-on introduction to the sport of archery for ages 10–14. Students will learn range safety, proper form, shot process, and basic archery techniques through interactive lessons and engaging games. With an emphasis on safety and fun, this course builds confidence and excitement in young archers, preparing them to grow in the sport for years to come.
Learning the Basics
This course begins with the fundamentals—understanding safety, range rules, and the history of archery. Students will learn how to identify and use their equipment correctly, participate in warm-up exercises, and understand the steps to a proper shot. The goal is to create a safe, comfortable, and enjoyable environment where every student can develop confidence in handling a bow.

Student Details
Upon registration, parents or guardians must provide:
• Student’s age (10–14 years)
• Right- or left-handed preference
• Any past injuries or physical limitations
• Whether the student will bring their own equipment (compound or traditional)
Important: Per Safe Sport Training and USA Archery policy, at least one parent or guardian must accompany each student during the course. There are no exceptions to this rule.
Class Limit: 10 Students
Parent Participation: Parents are welcome to participate alongside their child, though instruction will focus on youth development.
