Hand Drill Friction Fire

The hand drill friction fire is one of the more difficult fire making techniques when it comes to starting a fire with nothing but what nature provides you. But with a bit of practice, one can become very proficient with this skill.
During our 50 Day Advanced Woodsmen class and the 7 Day Advanced Bushcraft class, we cover the hand drill friction fire. In this video our student Matt works on his techniques. If you are interested in learning this technique or need to improve upon your skills, watch him for some pointers.
